Kicking off his career with stand-up gigs in clubs and colleges nationwide, David Spade hit the TV scene with a bang on SNL. Rolling Stone even crowned him “Hot Stand-Up Comedian of the Year.” During his five-year SNL stint, Spade became a household name with his iconic characters, like the sarcastic “Hollywood Minute” reporter and those memorable catchphrases—“And you are…?” and “Buh-Bye!”

Fast forward to his Emmy-nominated role as Dennis Finch on "Just Shoot Me," Spade further proved his talents. A Golden Globe nod in 2000 and an American Comedy Award in '99 for his work on "Just Shoot Me" solidified his comedy chops. Spade’s still a box office hit and a stand-up tour regular, bringing laughs nationwide.

David Spade's also into podcasting, co-hosting "Fly on the Wall" with SNL pal Dana Carvey. They dive deep into behind-the-scenes tales with cast members, hosts, writers, and musical guests. From SNL memories to life beyond the show, it's a comedy goldmine. Season one hit #1 in comedy and top five overall on Apple’s podcast chart. Season two's a go, featuring interviews with big shots like Sir Paul McCartney, Lorne Michaels, Nick Kroll, Maya Rudolph, Jimmy Fallon, Martin Short, Molly Shannon, Tom Hanks, Tina Fey, and more. New episodes drop every Wednesday on your favorite podcast platform.

He also rocked the Netflix scene with the hit movie "The Wrong Missy," snagging the top spot after its May 13, 2020 release. It even landed as the eighth most-watched Netflix original movie in the company’s history. Plus, Spade took the late-night reins in 2020 with his Comedy Central show, "Lights Out with David Spade."

In 2023, he kicked off his comedy tour around the United States. It was a 9-city trek that took him to big cities. Due to high demand for the show, David Spade decided to take the tour into 2024. He’s bringing the show to Savannah, Georgia - fans from the area finally get the chance to catch him live!
